11:57 am: an attempt to update more......
Things in the Peculiar world are about to get really busy. I have a huge show on October 21st. This week is all about getting models lined up and measured. I'm still short about 4 models, hint....hint. Anyway I have a lot of big ideas for the show, the trip to NYC last week helped get the creative fire burning.

I am going to be updating this journal a lot more from now on. I think it will help me keep track of what I'm getting done and what I'm not.

Off to work I go, lots of patterns to be made today!

11:10 am: taking the day off....
last week was so crazy. I only got about 25 hours of sleep over a six day period. I was working so hard on getting things ready for my show. I ended up with over 45 items of clothing 25 purses and a dozen or so scarves. The show went really well, I made some really good contacts with store owners. A big "Thank you to Ms.B.Shigley! You do a fabulous job organizing the shows.
After today it's back to the grindstone. I need to get my basement cleaned and painted so I can move my sewing studio. the room I'm in now is like working in a closet. Nothing is fully unpacked so every time I need something it involves digging through a few boxes to find it. I have 3 show already booked for october so the sooner I have an organized and fully functioning sewing room the better.
